Taylor Swift confirms The Tortured Poets Department as new era

Taylor Swift has added several songs from The Tortured Poets Department to the European Eras Tour setlist.

Taylor Swift has thrilled fans during her first Eras Tour show in Europe by adding songs from The Tortured Poets Department to the setlist.

Following weeks of speculation from Swifties, it has officially been confirmed that The Tortured Poets Department (TTPD) has been added to the Eras Tour.

During her first show since the album was released in France, Swift confirmed that Folklore and Evermore have now officially been combined into one set. The concert in Paris’ La Défense Arena also marked the first appearance of Swift’s European support act, Paramore.

And with the Eras Tour soon coming to Scotland here’s everything we know about Taylor Swift’s European shows so far.

All the Eras Tour changes since the release of The Tortured Poets Department

The first of Swift’s shows in Europe showed fans that there was still plenty to be excited about, despite many aspects of the performance being made available in the Eras Tour Concert Film.

The first major change to the Eras Tour is the addition of songs from The Tortured Poets Department to the setlist.

With Folklore and Evermore now combined into one set, tracks from the TTPD performed in Paris include But Daddy I Love Him and I Can Do It With A Broken Heart. This also means that around six songs have been cut from the European setlist to account for this change.

In addition, many Eras on the tour have been rearranged in the show’s runtime though Lover continues to open the show while Midnights remains the final set.

Plus, fans have plenty of new costumes and choreography to look forward to.

Her first show in Europe has seen Swift make the first significant changes to the Eras Tour setlist since the tour began last May.
