Network acts to back drama in colleges

LAVISH costumes, delicate masks and just a touch of drama were on show at the Hub in Edinburgh in a new drama initiative.

Students from the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama, Queen Margaret University and Napier University were performing to launch the Scottish Drama Training Network, which aims to support drama provision at Scotland's conservatoires, universities and colleges.

The first step has been the creation of a BA (Hons) Acting for Stage and Screen degree course, which will be delivered between Edinburgh Napier and Queen Margaret University.
