Cowdery unveils next Resolution

INSURANCE mogul Clive Cowdery is set to launch "Resolution III" after his current consolidation vehicle has finished integrating the UK life business of AXA with Friends Provident.

Cowdery yesterday revealed he had asked his acquisitions team to begin scouting for takeover targets in the United States and Europe.

It is thought that any such targets could include financial service companies outwith Cowdery's usual preference for insurance firms. It is unclear if the third vehicle will be listed.
