New bridal range will be affordable says Michelle Mone

LINGERIE tycoon Michelle Mone is moving into bridal wear with a range created by former Escada designer Brian Rennie.

Dundee-born Rennie has drawn up four "affordable off-the-rail" dresses for Mone's Ultimo brand. The wedding range will be launched in Debenhams stores from January.

The move follows the decision earlier this year by Mone's company MJM International to expand into womenswear after ten years of specialising in lingerie.

Rennie spent 20 years at Escada designing for celebrities such as Beyonc before agreeing to head up Ultimo Couture. Mone said: "The response to Ultimo Couture has been phenomenal and when designing the second collection, the idea for bridal dresses came up."
