Scrap small firms' bonus, unions say

THE Scottish Trades Union Congress yesterday called for the next Scottish Government to scrap the Small Business Bonus scheme and pump its funding into the Scottish Investment Bank, "where it will have a much more efficient impact on growth and employment".

The demand came in an STUC report into manufacturing, which will be discussed today at the organisation's conference in Ayr.
