Sir Ken Morrison fined by Financial Services Authority

THE former boss of the Morrisons supermarket chain was fined £210,000 by the Financial Services Authority this week for failing to disclose publicly when he sold most of his shares in the group.

Morrison, 79, cut his holding in the firm founded by his father to less than 1 per cent. His failure to disclose the sale did not benefit him but broke stock exchange rules.
