Baxters’ innovation chef has created a limited-edition range of three fruity conserves –Blackcurrant and Cassis, Figgy Pudding, and Damson and Sloe Gin –as well as a warming Christmas chutney which is perfect for a festive cheese board.

The range can be found in Baxters’ exquisite collection of hampers and gift boxes alongside Audrey Baxter Signature products, which boast an assortment of zingy curds and chutneys, such as Cherry & Kirsch Jam and Piccachilli.

Firm family favourites, including beetroot in redcurrant jelly, are also a must for festive feasting.

To create the decadent collection, the company delved into Scotland’s larder for inspiration – and produced a treasure trove of delicious treats. The range can also be found in The Balmoral hamper, which is packed with 27 items from Baxters and Scottish artisan producers.

It boasts the luxurious Chef Selections Venison, Sloe Gin and Juniper soup, Signature Range lemon curd, and an eight-year-old Speyside single-malt packed with notes of citrus, ginger and caramel.

No drinks aficionado would turn their nose up at a bottle of award-winning Esterlin Champagne or one of the many wines that have been selected by Baxters’ in-house wine expert.

The Sommelier’s Selection Luxury Hamper is the ideal gift for wine lovers, with some of the finest examples from family-run European vineyards.

If you have a sweet tooth, try pairing the Highland Chocolatier handmade silky truffles with a dram, or a Glenrinnes small-batch gin. Both are exclusively distilled for the hampers.

The Christmas Cracker Gift Box, based on the firm’s Kinloch Anderson 150th anniversary tartan cracker, includes handmade fudge and Iain Burnett truffles and pralines.

“You can tell there has been a huge degree of thoughtfulness gone into creating the hampers and gift boxes that include some of Scotland’s finest food and drink artisan producers,” says Katy Baxter, the Elgin-based company’s director.

“Personalise your gift giving with a Harris candle, Kinalba cashmere socks or Kinloch Anderson Christmas cracker. The reusable Tartan Christmas cracker doubles up as a napkin – the ultimate in sustainable table decoration.”

A hamper from Baxters is the Christmas gift that keeps giving.
