Blind charity praises group

Royal Blind, the charity which runs Edinburgh's Royal Blind School and Scottish Braille Press, has praised five fundraisers from Craigleith for 20 years of loyal service to the organisation.

Donald and Evelyn Whitfield, Muriel Haig, Muriel Murray and Bryce Spurgin have shown outstanding dedication to raising funds, Royal Blind said. One recent collection brought in 643.70, the charity said, but the group had raised far more over the last two decades.
