Campaigners look to save lobster plan
The North Berwick charity rejected plans for the 2 million extension as trustees feared it was too much of a financial risk.
But the Hatchery Implementation Group hopes to save the project, which has won the support of East Lothian Council, the local community and fishing industry. They say it could boost the area's economy and environment, attracting thousands of tourists a year.

Hide AdJane McMinn, the group's chairwoman, said: "We understand the concerns of the trustees of the Seabird Centre, but we are keen to work with them to determine if their concerns can be addressed."
Councillor Stuart MacKinnon said: "We will continue to support this project to bring this exciting attraction to North Berwick."
