Pupils from England, Wales and Ireland have also made it through to the final.

Pupils will be quizzed on aspects of children's literature, old and new.

The Kids' Lit Quiz is an annual literature quiz for students aged 10-13 years.

The quiz was founded by New Zealand quizmaster Wayne Mills, who writes several thousand questions each year and he has never asked the same question twice.

Tickets for the free event can be booked by contacting [email protected].
