Yeaman’s Lane: Man charged over alleged serious assault on Dundee taxi driver

A man has been arrested and charged following alleged ‘serious assault’ on a taxi driver in Dundee.

The incident reportedly took place in the city’s Yeaman’s Lane on Saturday, April 17.

In a statement, detectives said: ‘Police Scotland can confirm that a 37-year-old man was arrested and charged on Sunday (25th) in connection with the serious assault of a taxi driver in Yeaman’s Lane, Dundee, on 17th April.

‘He was kept in custody and was due to appear at Dundee Sheriff Court yesterday (26th).’
