Dial up new exam service

SCHOOL pupils who want to receive their exam results a day early only have a week left to register for the service.

Registration for MySQA, the online service operated by the Scottish Qualifications Authority, closes at 5pm on July 15.

Pupils who sign up to the service will receive their results via text message and e-mail on the afternoon of August 4, the day before everyone else receives their paper certificates through the post.

John McMorris, head of marketing at SQA, said: "MySQA is our direct link with candidates and is particularly useful at this time of year."
