Diners face corker of a corkage fee

THE practice of "Bring Your Own" is returning to the UK's top restaurants - but at a price, a study has found.

Just over 40 per cent of 100 top restaurants allow diners to bring their wine with them, lastminute.com revealed. But customers pay an average corkage fee of 22 a bottle.
