Driver winched from 60ft ravine plunge

THE driver of 4x4 vehicle was winched to safety by a helicopter yesterday after his vehicle overturned and crashed into a burn at the bottom of a 60ft ravine.

The 36 year-old man, who was not named, suffered back injuries in the accident in a remote glen at Fortingall, near Aberfeldy, Perth and Kinross.
