Drivers have much to learn
Some drivers are breaking the law by drinking, texting or even falling asleep while on practice runs with learners, an AA/Populus poll shows.
As many as 23 per cent of the near-19,000 surveyed did not know they would be breaking the law by using a mobile phone while supervising a learner.

Hide AdAnd 13 per cent were unaware of the need to wear glasses if they use them when driving themselves, while 9 per cent did not realise that falling asleep in the passenger seat would risk a run-in with the law.
