Fears grow for missing Capital man

POLICE are searching for a man who disappeared after leaving his home, amid growing concerns for his safety.

Barry McVicar Wyllie, 33, was last seen at his home address in Boswall Loan, Granton, at around 8:30am on Wednesday and has not returned since then.

Mr Wyllie is described as white, 5ft 6in tall with a slim build, blue eyes, short light-brown hair, clean-shaven and a fair complexion. He was last seen wearing a short black jacket, blue jeans and white and blue Reebok trainers.

Mr Wyllie is known to visit various other areas of Scotland and police are appealing for anyone who may have information that can assist to come forward.

A police spokesman said: "We are eager to find him and reunite him with his relatives as soon as possible."
