Four arrested after £110k drugs raids

Four men have been arrested and drugs worth around £110,000 seized in two separate police raids.

Three men, aged 24, 25 and 26, from the Liverpool area, were arrested at Burnside Caravan Park, in Fochabers, Moray, after a car was stopped on the A9 near Aviemore on Thursday afternoon.

Police said heroin and cannabis with a street value of £60,000 was seized and the men are due to appear in court next week. The operation was run jointly by Northern Constabulary and Grampian Police.

A 47-year-old man was arrested and charged by Lothian and Borders Police after they recovered herbal cannabis and cocaine worth around £50,000 from a house in Edinburgh. Police said the Meadowbank raid was intelligence-led and £7,200 in cash was seized.
