Heather's hut helps schools

SCHOOLS in Edinburgh are among those being urged to build "eco-huts" to tap into untapped energy with Heather the Weather.

The project is to be unveiled on Wednesday and will see youngsters undertake a series of scientific investigations to uncover the potential of Scotland's natural resources.

Dr Heather Reid OBE said: "This project provides a great opportunity for interdisciplinary learning, topical science and skills development."
