Hitchhikers go on African trip

TWO keen hitchhikers are preparing to catch a ride from Scotland to Morocco in the name of charity.

On 27 March, student friends Ben McNeil, 20, and Adam Temple, 19, who both study at Edinburgh University, will attempt to hitchhike 1,200 miles using ferries for sea crossings.

They are raising money for Link Community Development, which helps educate children in the most impoverished parts of Africa.
