Holyrood Bill up for debate

THE public is being asked for its views on more powers for the Scottish Parliament.

The Scotland Bill would hand MSPs more control over income tax, speed limits, drink-drive limits and air gun laws.

But the Scottish Government is pressing for further powers, including corporation tax, excise duty, broadcasting and control of the seabed around Scotland.

Now the Holyrood committee scrutinising the Bill has invited views from interested individuals and organisations on the proposals.
