Jenny Dawe hits back at Chancellor
CITY leader Jenny Dawe has hit back at criticism from the Chancellor Alistair Darling.
In an answer to questions by Liberal Democrat councillor Tim McKay, Cllr Dawe said that the Chancellor had not attended any of the 19 briefings held by the council for Lothian parliamentarians since March 2004, adding: "Alistair Darling has never raised any concerns with me regarding strategic council matters."
