Labour museum fined over missing logo

A MUSEUM telling the history of the Labour Party has been fined more than £7,000 for failing to display the logo of the European project which funded it.

The National Museum of Labour History in Manchester, now known as The People's History Museum, was financed by a 756,300 European Regional Development Fund grant. It was ordered to pay 7,233 because it broke the terms of the deal by failing to credit the fund by not showing its logo on a billboard.
