Lennon bomb plot convict ‘posted’ loyalist messages

THE man convicted of sending bombs to Celtic manager Neil Lennon is under investigation for allegedly posting loyalist messages on Facebook from his jail cell.

Neil McKenzie was questioned by prison officers after a message appeared on a page under his name signed off the loyalist logo “no surrender”.

McKenzie of Saltcoats was jailed for five years along with accomplice Trevor Muirhead for sending makeshift parcel bombs to the Celtic manager alongside other high profile public figures.

Lawyer Paul McBride and ex-MSP Trish Godman were also targeted.
