Museum airshow spectacular ready for take-off

THE heavens will be teeming with high-octane aerobatics next Saturday as the annual National Museum of Flight airshow takes to the skies.

For the first time the flight display features the OV-10 Bronco, Jet Provost, RV8tors and Jungman aircraft, while there is a return for the fearless Breitling Wing Walkers and the Royal Navy Sea King helicopter.

The formation display team Twisted Duo and the Pitts Special high performance aircraft will wow spectators who can also admire a Hawker Hunter military jet and a Seafire fighter plane.

Four hangars will be jam-packed with entertainment including BMX bike displays, fairground rides, and local author Jack Tully Jackson's 30-minute film East Lothian at War.

The event opens at 10am.
