Newhailes in a twinkling

BUDDING astronomers can explore the night sky this month in Newhailes, Musselburgh, as part of BBC Learning's Stargazing Live roadshow.

Aimed at seven-to-12-year olds, the National Trust for Scotland (NTS) event will teach participants how to identify constellations, tell amazing tales and help create some other-worldly craftwork.

The event takes place on January 15, from 5:30pm to 7:30pm costing 2 per child.

Accompanying adults go free.
