The Scotsman cartoon: Shell independence concerns

OIL giant Shell are the latest major firm to voice their concerns over the uncertainty over what Scottish independence could bring for their business.

Ben van Beurden, chief executive of the Anglo-Dutch company, said: “We’d like to see Scotland remain part of the United Kingdom. Given a choice, we want to know as accurately as possible what investment conditions will look like ten or 20 years from now.”
