Better Together film ‘made in BBC studio’
– Charles Linskaill
Totally outrageous and underlines the fact that the BBC is not impartial in the independence debate. Will the Electoral Commission or the BBC Trust take any action?

As a taxpayer, I expect institutions like the BBC to be able to commercialise their facilities and get returns for the taxpayer. I have no problem at all with either the SNP or Better Together paying commercial rates to use BBC facilities.

Hide AdSo Better Together hired a studio that the SNP has hired before. If this is all the “yesnp” has got left, it is in deep trouble.

TV thing made in TV studio shocker. Who really cares? Who cares what he Pope thinks? Or Hillary Clinton? Or Alan Cumming, Christiano Ronaldo or the Aga Khan? Is there no analysis of why Yes is wrong or No is right anymore?
– LachieStephen
No issues here. The pro-UK group paid for studio time, big deal.
– Nascis Tyrannus
Either the BBC should be allowed to hire out their facilities or they shouldn’t. If they are allowed no political party can claim that the BBC should only be allowed to do so to people who agree with their personal agenda.

It’s one of these damned if you do, damned don’t things. And, of course, the Yes guys will let their paranoia allow them to shout and scream.

Trying to make a mountain out of a molehill, complete non-story. Desperate stuff from the Nationalists. Been a bad week for them.

Total hype and rubbish. If I want to make a video in a commercial studio and pay for professional services, why should the BBC studios be excluded from consideration?
– derekafarmer
It’s a commercial arrangement, so what’s the problem? The whole thing is a nonsense and is like something from the playground.
– Slippy Lizard
Is this not a lot of fuss about a rather insignificant issue? It is not as if the advertisement was stamped with “Made by the BBC”.
