Cold shoulder

It is not surprising that more than 60 per cent of the voters in the North-east of Scotland voted a massive No to independence when you consider how the current Scottish Nationalist administration has short-changed the North-east in favour of the ­Central Belt.

Many high-value projects have been completed or approved for the Central Belt as the long awaited Aberdeen bypass faced delay after delay with completion now predicted to be as late as 2018.

It simply wouldn’t have been allowed to happen this way in the Central Belt.
