Interview errors

Gordon Brown's TV interview with Piers Morgan was not just cringingly awful (Opinion, 15 February), but Lesley Riddoch got some of her facts wrong. Mr Brown was not, as Ms Riddoch wrote, "the first student rector of Edinburgh University". That was Jonathan Wills. And Mr Brown's anointed student successor was trounced in the polls by Magnus Magnusson – not beaten by any later "rule change".
