Passenger figures best yet at airport
The 873,200 passengers recorded during September marked a 2.2 per cent increase on a year earlier.
New destinations, including Helsinki and Marrakech, helped to boost the numbers using the city airport.

Hide AdHowever, the impact of the Icelandic volcano ash cloud, British Airways cabin crew strikes and the demise of Flyglobespan means the year-to-date figure is still five per cent down on last year.
A spokesman for the airport said it had been the third consecutive month of impressive gains in passengers.
He said: "We had a difficult start to the year, but these figures demonstrate that Edinburgh very much continues to be a place people want to visit and live in."
