Pete Doherty set for city show

Troubled musician Pete Doherty is set to perform at Edinburgh's Picture House on September 21.

The former Libertines frontman will appear in a gig for over-14s only.

Since splitting from the Libertines, he has assembled a new band, Babyshambles, who have released two albums, as well as releasing a solo album.

Doherty has had a troubled personal life, with repeated arrests for drug offences, time in jail, and multiple spells in rehab. His Edinburgh appearance is part of a UK tour. For details see www.meanfiddler.com.
