Picture House set to become Wetherspoons super pub

PLANS to turn one of the Capital’s most historic live music venues into a super pub are set to the get the go-ahead.

Council officers have recommended approving an application from pubs giant Wetherspoons to turn the former Picture House in Lothian Road into a pub.
