Police appeal after 67-year-old mugged

A 67-YEAR-OLD woman was robbed as she walked home in Kilmarnock.

She was grabbed from behind by a female who threw her to the ground and tried to steal her handbag. A motorist stopped and took the victim to her home. Police are appealing for witnesses to the attack in Howard Park Drive on Thursday.
