A CARAVAN and a number of wheelie bins were destroyed and a family had to be evacuated from their home as a safety precaution after a number of fires were started deliberately.
Police are appealing for witnesses after the fires were lit in the Lochside Road and Dunlop Road areas of Dumfries in the early hours of yesterday. No-one was injured.
