RMJM operations director latest senior figure to quit

Embattled architecture firm RMJM has seen the departure of another senior member of staff - operations director Miriam White.

The Edinburgh-based company, which has lost a string of top-flight workers in recent months - including former Royal Bank of Scotland chief executive Sir Fred Goodwin who recently stepped back from his position as an adviser - appointed Ms White in late 2009, when it took on architect Will Alsop to head up a new studio called "Will Alsop at RMJM".

Prior to working at RMJM, Ms White, who is originally from New Zealand, had been behind high-profile projects including the HSBC tower at Canary Wharf in London and Hong Kong international airport.
