School throws open doors to nursery paid for by closures
The 500,000 centre will cater for youngsters aged from three to five and is designed to be used by teachers in a flexible way.
The new nursery has space for 40 morning and 40 afternoon places, an increase of 20 on the previous nursery facilities contained within the main school at Clermiston.

Hide AdEducation leader Councillor Marilyne MacLaren said: "The early years of a child's life are vital in their development, so it's fantastic to be in a position to open a brand new nursery in Edinburgh. It's just one of many new facilities that we are developing despite the difficult financial situation faced by the city."
