Sick OAP in 3-hour wait for ambulance

Health chiefs have apologised after a seriously ill pensioner had to wait three hours for an ambulance to arrive.

Relatives want compensation for Marian Clark, who they say has been left bed-ridden after suffering a fit at her nursing home in Ellon, Aberdeenshire.

An NHS 24 call handler told staff there that her condition was not an emergency.
