Sir Jackie hails dyslexia event

FORMER F1 champion racing driver Sir Jackie Stewart was the guest speaker at an event in the Capital last night to launch Dyslexia Awareness Week.

Sir Jackie, who struggled at school as a result of the condition, was at the Central Library on George IV Bridge to talk about "The Impact of Unidentified Dyslexia".

He said: "This programme will attract the attention of hopefully a great many people in Scotland so that they are more aware of the trials and tribulations that people of all ages suffer from dyslexia."
