Tale of two cities for Julie's charity cycle

A WOMAN with cerebral palsy is to take on a fundraising cycle from Edinburgh to Glasgow.

Julie McElroy, 25, is raising money for a charity which provides specialist therapy for children with the condition. Although she has problems with co-ordination, speech and hearing, she is determined to ride the 89km route in aid of the Bobath Scotland Children's Cerebral Palsy Therapy Centre. She will be accompanied by staff from The Bike Chain shop in the Capital.

Ms McElroy said: "Bobath Scotland has made such a difference to the lives of so many families like my own and I'm proud to be associated with it."
