Teenager hit by car at ERI

A TEENAGER has been taken to hospital after being struck by a car in Craigentinny.

The 13-year-old girl suffered minor injuries after being hit by the car on Moira Terrace at around 1pm yesterday.

She was taken to the Royal Infirmary with minor injuries.

A police spokesman said: "The girl was conscious and breathing, and suffered a minor injury to her knee and head."

The road was temporarily closed but reopened at around 2pm.
