Two taken to hospital after cars collide

TWO men have been taken to hospital with back and head injuries following a crash near Wilkieston in West Lothian.

The side-on collision took place on the A71 just before noon yesterday, leaving a 20-year-old man and 75-year-old man in need of hospital treatment.

Both were taken to Edinburgh Royal Infirmary while a third man involved in the crash was "walking wounded".

Fire crews from Broxburn and Livingston attended the crash.
