Keira Knightley harassment case abandoned

THE trial of a man accused of harassing actress Keira Knightley, 24, was discontinued yesterday.

Marek Daniluk, 41, of Godolphin Close, Enfield, north London, was arrested in February outside a West End theatre at which the star was performing.

Police were called to the Comedy Theatre after a woman complained about the behaviour of a man outside the venue. Knightley was then performing in Moliere's The Misanthrope.

Daniluk appeared at City of Westminster Magistrates' Court yesterday to stand trial for harassment, but the matter had been discontinued.
