Old rivals challenge X–Factor over No 1

A GROUP of pensioners is aiming to take on the X Factor winner for the Christmas No 1 – with a cover of vintage hit Grandad.

Fron Male Voice Choir, whose average age is 66, have recorded the song Clive Dunn took to the top of the charts more than 40 years ago. The pensioners are accompanied by their own grandchildren.
