Uni impact is revealed

UNIVERSITY years are the greatest influence on life, according to more than half of graduates from Edinburgh.

Twenty-seven per cent say they found their future husband, wife or life partner at university, with 50 per cent stating that they met their closest, life-long friends while studying.

The findings, revealed by London South Bank University (LSBU), highlight the extent to which university impacts on all aspects of life.

Three quarters of all graduates from Edinburgh believe that university improves an individual's potential by giving them greater confidence.
