Union in NHS attacks claim
A UNION official has said politicians are partly to blame for a rise in physical attacks on NHS Lothian staff.
The News revealed yesterday that, on average, five assaults a day are being launched on NHS employees by patients in the Lothians.
Tom Waterson, of Unison, said: “Constant attacks on public services from politicians have caused distrust between patients and staff.”
