Visitors will also be treated to a performance of local artists, including Sandra Macbeth and the new LGBT Glee Club.

The highlight is set to be a cake competition judged by head chef of Caf Fish and star of Ramsey's Kitchen Nightmares, India Innes.

A spokesman for the LGBT Centre for Health and Wellbeing said: "After the huge success of last year's fete, we are set for another summer scorcher!

"Along with all the fun activities there will be a number of prizes up for grabs in the Summer Fete Raffle including meals for two in some of Edinburgh's finest eateries, Lush health and beauty products and lots more."

The event is free and all funds go to centre projects.
