Golf legend Jack Nicklaus launches new ice cream
The Golden Bear, 75, whose past product ranges have included water, wine, lemonade, sunglasses and golf balls, professed his love for the frozen dessert as he launched the product with US food manufacturer The Schwan Food Company.
Nicklaus’ ice cream, priced at $1.99 and only available in the US, comes in seven flavours: warm spiced butter pecan, chocolate peanut butter swirl, salted caramel toffee, strawberry lemonade, triple chocolate, coffee and donuts, and homemade vanilla.

Hide AdSales of the products will be tied to his childrens’ charity, Nicklaus Children’s Health Care Foundation.
The 18-time major championship winner, commenting on his new product, said: “It’s no secret that I love ice cream. Needless to say, I have never had so much fun in the research and development of a product. The team at Schwan has a world-class product development center. Together, we have created a variety of flavors—all with real ingredients—for a quality, premium ice cream at a value price.”
