Guantanamo protest grows
A HUNGER strike is escalating at Guantanamo Bay, the US military said.
A spokesman said 52 terrorist suspects, among 166 held at the base in Cuba, had joined the strike, up from 45 at the start of the week.
The increase follows a violent clash between guards and prisoners last Saturday.
Fifteen prisoners are being force-fed and three are in hospital.
The hunger strike began in early February.
