Reverend Makhenkesi Stofile, the Sport and Recreation head, accused Chuene of committing "gross misconduct" by defying medical advice to allow the teenager to run. "Mr Chuene ignored that professional advice and went ahead. He must face disciplinary hearings," Stofile said.
