Diouf has 'gong' missing

EL-HADJI Diouf is never far from trouble and the former loan Ranger's controversial career has taken a new twist.

According to the Sun, Diouf has gone AWOL from Blackburn after being kicked out for showing off the SPL title medal he won with Rangers.

The Senegal striker returned to Rovers in May after a four-month loan spell at Ibrox, but his behaviour didn't go down well with boss Steve Kean who was preparing his side for a relegation battle with Wolves.

An insider told the paper: "That day El Hadji was showing off his medal and behaving pretty obnoxiously. He was ordered to leave and told he wasn't welcome back at the training ground for the remainder of the season. But he was expected back for the start of the pre-season training - and there's no sign of him."

The same paper also revealed that Celtic misfit Daryl Murphy is wanted by Nottingham Forest. The Irish striker has been told he can leave Parkhead after starting just nine games since his move north last summer.

The Daily Mail reported that ex-Celtic midfielder Evander Sno, who had a heart attack on the pitch last season while playing for Ajax reserves, has clinched a three-year deal with Serie A side Genoa.
